==================================================================

GOOD AFTERNOON! Did you see that beautiful storm that popped up around 7:30
or so last night over extreme southeast Shelby County in the
Harpersville/Vincent area. The tall storm was visible from a long distance
in the mostly clear skies. It flickered with lightning as the setting sun
illuminated the huge updraft and anvil. But within forty five minutes, it
was already history, quickly raining itself out like so many pulse
thunderstorms we wee here during the summer in Alabama. Very light winds
mean that the storms cannot separate their updraft from their downdraft,
which is necessary for long lived storms. The old rule of what goes up must
come back down takes control and the huge load of moisture that has been
lifted high into the atmosphere comes dumping down in the form of heavy
rain.

A HOT ONE: Every reporting station across North Alabama was in the 90s by
early afternoon. With very high dewpoints, heat indices were approaching
and surpassing 100 degrees in many areas. This means that anyone partaking
in outdoor activities such as yard work or sports should take precautions.
Drink plenty of fluids Take frequent breaks. Avoid overexposure.

IN THE TROPICS: We will start with the tropics this afternoon since it
might have some bearing on our weather. The Gulf and Western Caribbean are
favored areas for development early in the Atlantic Hurricane Season, mainly
because those are the only places where waters are warm enough for
development. A persistent area of clouds and showers over the Northwest
Caribbean has been associated with an upper level low. This disturbed area
has pushed into the southern Gulf. The system seems to be developing
according to morning satellite photos. The morning runs of the ETA model
carry a surface low toward Southeast Texas and southern Louisiana, but they
also bring a huge swath of moisture northward into Alabama Monday and
Tuesday. The GFS carries it to our south and east, and is more limited with
its scope of moisture. We will be monitoring carefully.

THE FORECAST: High pressure in the upper atmosphere continues its dominance
of Alabama's weather this afternoon, suppressing the development of showers
and storms despite a very juicy airmass that is in place over the state.
Any areas luck enough to get under a cooling thunderstorm this afternoon or
evening will find the relief short lived as any storms that do form will
quickly rain themselves out. Tonight will feature fair skies with warm and
humid conditions. A little patchy fog will develop towards morning.
Tomorrow looks like a carbon copy of today with temperatures back into the
90s. We come under the influence of the Gulf system Monday, with a good
chance of showers and thunderstorms. If the system is to our west, Monday
and Tuesday could be nice and wet. If it is south and east, not so much so.
A cold front will drop into Tennessee Tuesday, but it probably will not make
it as far as our northern border. Still it could enhance rain chances then
a little also. I think we stay in the soup the remainder of the week, with
more warm and humid conditions, since there is little likelihood of the
front making it through our area.

...Checking the Weather Beetle...

GOOD MORNING! Anybody out there got a weather beetle? In our zest for all
of today's weather technology, I think we have to remind ourselves to
remember to read the skies. Certainly satellites and radar and computers
have improved forecasting immeasurably, but keeping an eye to the skies is
still irreplaceable in forecasting. Just ask Granny from the Beverly
Hillbillies! See today's Weather Talk for more about Cecil.

SATURDAY FORECAST: A warm, humid airmass covers Alabama on this Saturday
morning. With all the moisture in place, widely scattered thunderstorms
will develop with the heating of the day, despite the presence of a ridge of
high pressure over the state. Some areas that are right under any slow
moving storms that develop may get some brief heavy rainfall. Highs today
will reach 90 in a few locations. Any storms that develop will diminish
during the evening hours.

EYE ON SUNDAY/MONDAY: By tomorrow, the upper ridge will nudge a little to
the east, subtly enhancing the chances of convection. In addition, a
backdoor cold front
will be sliding down the east side of the Appalachians, approaching Alabama
from the northeast. This will enhance storms chances, especially over
eastern sections of the state. Next, the models try to bring a cold front
into Alabama from the northwest starting Monday. That is a little doubtful,
but it could help to enhance rain chances.

REST OF THE WEEK: A disturbed weather area over the Northwest Caribbean may
develop a surface low as it moves into the Gulf. It would head toward the
Florida Panhandle by Tuesday. This could really make things wet in the
Tuesday/Wednesday time frame. We will watch this system carefully. The
ridge of high pressure tries to re-establish itself for the latter part of
the week, lessening our chances for precipitation and clouds and pushing
temperatures back toward 90 degrees.

OZONE ALERT: The Air Quality Index in the Jefferson/Shelby area is in the
YELLOW alert category today and tomorrow.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN ALABAMA: For the second day in a row showers
were as scarce as hen's teeth across Alabama early this afternoon. (That's
an old West Alabama term.) But the old thermometer was running a little
hotter than yesterday and many communities will top out at 90 or slightly
above.

We foresee a slight increase in showers and thunderstorms for
Saturday, but still not widespread. We still think that our best chance of
showers and storms will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. During that three-day
stretch some communities may get between 1 and 2 inches of rain.

A ridge of high pressure was keeping us mostly dry today, but that
will start to weaken. The same cold front that greatly cooled off the
Washington-Baltimore area today may try to sneak into East Alabama from the
NE before the weekend is over. That could enhance our chances of rain on
Sunday. We're also watching a big glob of moisture that will spread
northward through the Gulf of Mexico and approaching the Gulf Coast Monday.

TROPICAL WEATHER: There is a concentration of cloudiness and
thunderstorms over the NW Caribbean. These are being caused by a low
pressure area aloft and tropical storm formation is unlikely. However, it
appears that a lot of moisture from this system will move across the Yucatan
Peninsula and emerge into the Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to continue
northward through the Gulf.

AIR QUALITY: The persistent Code Yellow was still in effect today.
That means moderate air quality. If you are a sensitive person, you should
avoid exerting yourself too much or too long.

JUST TO COOL YOU OFF: Summer is only 10 days away, but overnight as
much as 6 to 12 inches of snow fell in the mountains of Yellowstone National
Park as well as the Grand Tetons and Wind River Mountains. In the Park,
travelers were expected to encounter possible road closures...way far away
at the Amundsen-Scott Station, Anarctica it was 82 below zero with a wind
chill index of 147 below!...lowest in the USA this morning was 29 at
Stanley, Idaho and Barrow, Alaska.

WEEKEND AT THE BEACH: There will be some scattered showers and
thunderstorms Saturday but they will become more numerous on Sunday and
Monday. Highs 85-88.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: We owned three dogs back in the 1970s
and had bad luck with all of them. So, we had not owned another dog until
about 18 months ago. I regret that long void without a little puppy
following me around. She is becoming more and more spoiled and I don't mind
that. She now wants several tummy rubs every day and lately a rub down all
over. Our living area constantly looks like the toy room in a nursery with
obstacles everywhere. She is highly trained at intimidating me into a play
session every time I try to maneuver my way from the weather office to the
kitchen to get a cup of coffee...another very enjoyable walk this morning
and the mockingbirds were very vocal again. One of them was singing much
louder than the rest and I assumed he was the choir director...he reminded
me of a certain gentleman named Dennis, who is our church choir director.
Life goes on and it is more fun because of Little Miss Molly!

ALL ABOUT ALABAMA: A blanket of warm, humid air drapes the state. Maybe we
should say hot, humid air because daily high temperatures continue to flirt
with the magic 90-degree mark. I have always said that 90 sounds a lot
hotter than 89. It's a psychological thing.

The chance of getting a cooling shower or storm will be quite small for the
next two days. But we see an increase in showers and storms late in the
weekend and early next week. There are some indications that a cold front
may become brave enough to try to slip in here sometime next week. But this
is a graveyard for cold fronts in summer. Even if it makes it, we will only
feel a slight drop in daytime humidity and slightly cooler nights. (See our
day-by-day forecast for our latest thinking on this.)

LOOKING IN ALL DIRECTIONS: Texas still bothered by too much rain...in the
last 24 hours, 3.76 inches at Austin, 3.55 at Childress, 4.27 at New
Braunfels, and 2.11 in San Antonio...Houston now almost 10 inches above
normal for the year so far...Victoria 200% of normal so far!...Texas also
had the hottest temperature yesterday, 104 at Wink...coldest in the lower
connected 48 states this morning was 25 at Grand Canyon Airport on the south
rim...tonight in Colorado's high country it will be as low as 25 in places
like Climax and on Tennessee Pass with winds up to 30 mph...Bill Murray and
family vacationing in one of my favorite places-the North Carolina Outer
Banks.

TROPICAL WEATHER: The Atlantic Basin which includes the Caribbean and the
Gulf of Mexico is still calm, complacent, inactive, unexciting (your choice
of words).

WEEKEND AT THE BEACH: Highs along the immediate coast will be 86-88 but
inland, at places like Bay Minette and Mobile, about 92. Scattered
thunderstorms Friday and Saturday but still good intervals of sunshine. An
increase in showers and storms Sunday and Monday. The sea surface
temperature near Dauphin Island is about 82.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: My new nickname for my Little Miss Molly is "8
Pound Rat" at least until her hair grows out again. A big concert again by
the CMBs (Community Mocking Birds.) It was an extremely loud concert by at
least three or four birds...by far the loudest noise in the community. It
sounded like City Stages or Riverfest...maybe they scared our Old Crows
away...sure wish they would return...one of our readers thinks all of our
crows moved to her garden because he has had to replant her corn three
times...Molly looks like a "drowned rat" now when she finishes the first
half-mile walk...this from "doing her business" in the grass loaded with dew
and chasing every bug in the community...on night walks now she is obsessed
with chasing lightning bugs (fireflies) and loping high as she can to try to
pull them down...she is crazy...which matches my personality but, remember,
crazy people live 15 years longer...so my extended life goes on!

==================================================================

AROUND ALABAMA: A blanket of warm humid air covers Alabama and most of the
Southeast. There is plenty of moisture available, so the main thing that
determines how many showers or thunderstorms form are subtle differences in
the upper air pattern. The chance of a thunderstorm late this afternoon and
evening is very small. For the rest of the week and through the weekend,
there will be some scattered showers and thunderstorms every day-most of
them during the afternoon and early evening. It looks like a slightly better
chance Thursday, but the best chance of all could be late in the weekend on
Sunday. We caution that it could change by this weekend, so don't take that
for granted.

High temperatures will be rather consistent ranging mostly between 86 and
88. See our day-by-day forecast.

YESTERDAY'S TINY SEVERE STORM: Around 6:20 p.m. golf-ball sized hailstones
pelted Brookwood in Eastern Tuscaloosa County. Some trees and power lines
were torn down. This thunderstorm was extremely small and it spent itself
near where it formed. This is what we call a pulse-type thunderstorm that
can quickly flare up and become severe for a few minutes, then fade away.

AIR QUALITY: Another Code Yellow day which means moderate air quality. If
you are a very sensitive person, you should not strain yourself too much or
too long.

TROPICAL WEATHER: Nothing going on really. You can always find a few minor
disturbances somewhere out in the Atlantic, but none of them show any
promise of becoming tropical. So, we will wait patiently for Alex who will
be the first named storm of the season.

THE REST OF THE STORY: 6 persons were injured yesterday when a strong F1
tornado touched down at Warton in SE Texas. A second tornado formed just
east of that one and traveled for four miles...a lot of hail in the western
part of the Denver metropolitan area, especially in Golden. The Denver Post
reported this morning that the hail depth in part of that area reached three
feet along with 3 inches of rain. The Storm Prediction Center has posted a
moderate risk (meaning significant) of severe weather for tomorrow over NW
Kansas, most of Nebraska and SW South Dakota...two inches of rain during the
last 24 hours in Houston, Waco and San Antonio. Well over an inch in
Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, Shreveport and Green Bay, Wisconsin...coldest this
morning 28 in Truckee, California and Barrow and Deadhorse, Alaska...Gila
Bend, Arizona was hottest with 105.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: My little Miss Molly back on schedule this
morning. If we had stepped outside one minute earlier, she would have seen
one of the community rabbits strolling across our driveway. That would have
erupted into a near riot and I would probably have gotten whiplash...the CC
(Community Cat) was resting on the walking track...Molly slowly approached
and I thought they were going to kiss but Molly charged from two feet away
and the cat sped off at seemingly 50 mph...that spooked Molly and she sped
off in the opposite direction...we paused for another Mocking Bird
concert...Molly looks so strange and funny with her hair cut so short.her
tail was not trimmed so when she sticks her tail up she looks top-heavy like
she will topple...she looks more like a rodent than a dog but I still love
her very much...life goes on.

...Still Warm; Still Humid...

A familiar forecast for Alabama today. Warm and steamy; some good periods of
sunshine, and a few storms this afternoon in widely separated spots.
Temperatures will generally peak in the upper 80s, just about where we
should be for this part of June. The chance of any one spot getting wet this
afternoon is about one in four.

A plume of deeper tropical moisture is expected to creep in here from the
west tomorrow, which should mean an increase in the number of showers and
thunderstorms. Then, for Friday and the weekend, we will pretty much stick
with the standard story for the early part of "meteorological summer" in
Alabama.
Summer will "officially arrive", in astronomical terms, on June 20 at 7:57
p.m. That is our longest day of the year in terms of the number of daylight
hours.

HEAT RETURNS: Demopolis was one of the warmest places in Alabama yesterday,
where our Neighborhood Weathernet station reported a high of 93 degrees.
Montgomery was not far behind with 92, Muscle Shoals hit 91, while Calera,
Troy, and Decatur had a high of 90. Birmingham's official high was 87.

OZONE: A code yellow forecast continues for Jefferson and Shelby counties
today, meaning air quality is expected to be moderate.

TROPICS: The Atlantic basin is very quiet and tropical storm formation is
not expected for the next several days. The first named storm of the season
will be "Alex".

HANGING OUT THE WASH: Houston, TX was soaked with 2.05" of rain yesterday.
Hottest place in the nation was Gila Bend, AZ with 105. Birmingham's rain
deficit for the year is now four and a half inches (4.54").

THE ALABAMA STORY: Warm, very humid air blankets Alabama but temperatures
are still avoiding the 90-degree mark in most areas. Yesterday the high was
only 75 in Tuscaloosa where clouds persisted most of the day.

Widely scattered thunderstorms were developing this afternoon and they were
moving from north to south-fairly unusual. Only isolated thunderstorms
should persist into
the evening.

Widely scattered thunderstorms should form again Wednesday. The latest
computer "guidance" suggests that the best chance of showers and
thunderstorms will be about Thursday. See our day-by-day forecast for our
thoughts.

AIR QUALITY: It was a Code Yellow again today for the Birmingham Metro area.
It has been that for several days meaning moderate air quality.

TROPICAL WEATHER: The persistent showers of recent days over the West
Caribbean have toned down and there are no other threats of tropical
development.

A SUPER STRONG WEATHER OFFICE: The National Weather Service broke ground
last week on a super safe Weather Forecast Office in Key West. It will be
built with Category 5 hurricanes in mind. It will be constructed with
concrete, reinforcing steel and hurricane-impact-resistant glass designed to
withstand sustained winds of 165 mph. Within the building will be a concrete
box to serve as a safe room for NWS employees-one that should be safe
against winds up to 250 mph!

DID YOU KNOW? That many of the worst forest fires in the Western USA are
caused by lightning during thunderstorms. Problem is that many of these
thunderstorms are "dry" thunderstorms. They produce some rain but, because
the air is so ultra-dry, the rain evaporates before reaching the ground. Dry
thunderstorms are forecast tomorrow in the north part of Death Valley. How
would you like to be there today where it will be 103 with 40 mph winds? A
blast-furnace feel!

ROAMING: Another example of how elevation affects weather: Both the hottest
in the USA and the coldest in the last 24 hours was in California. It was 25
this morning in Truckee and 107 yesterday in Twentynine Palms and Joshua
Tree.high winds expected by tomorrow over a big chunk of the West with gusts
up to 60 mph over Western Utah and parts of Nevada.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: Where are our Old Crows? Molly and I have not
seen one in over a week. We miss them-we almost consider them a part of the
family...after spending all day at the Puppy Beauty Shop yesterday, Molly
did not get her usual long daytime naps so she slept until 10:00 o'clock
this morning. Unheard of...she looks so funny. They did not cut the hair
around her ears or head-nor her tail...so she looks like a pom-pom with four
legs running along the walking track...she also resembles a miniature
low-land gorilla. I sure have laughed at her...on our 10 am walk...that same
loud bird was doing his repetitive speeches. One of our readers was
correct-it was a Mocking Bird...we flushed him from his hiding place...glad
Molly did not see one of the Community Rabbits go zooming by just before we
went out the door...life goes on.

...Typical June Weather...

It is that time of the year when small scale weather features
determine the amount of showers and storms we see on a daily basis in the
maritime tropical air that parks over Alabama. And, the synoptic scale
computer models we use don't have the resolution to handle those features at
all. So, you usually hear these terms from us weather folks that explain
increased shower and thunderstorm activity: "perturbation", "impulse",
"outflow boundary", "ripple", and the longtime favorite "upper level
disturbance". The bottom line is that forecasting daily coverage of showers
and storms in the summer is very difficult, if not impossible over 12 hours
in advance.

That is pretty much where we stand this morning. Very humid air will
cover the state for the foreseeable future, and we do expect scattered
showers and storms on a daily basis. When the main catalyst for the storms
is the daytime heating process, which is pretty much what we expect today,
then most of the showers will come from about 2:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m.
We see no well defined small scale feature to enhance storms through
mid-week, but again, those features are almost impossible to identify until
they begin to interact with the moist air.

The air aloft over Alabama is expected to be a bit cooler by the end
of the week and the weekend, which means showers and storms could be more
numerous by then. But, of course, there will be some decent intervals of
sunshine between those summer showers.

MISSISSIPPI RAIN: A number of roads flooded in east Mississippi
around Columbus and West Point yesterday morning. Golden Triangle Airport
measured 1.09", but NEXRAD data suggested some places saw up to four inches
of rain.

A blanket of clouds just did want to break up across much of North Alabama
today. As a result, early afternoon temperatures were only in the low to mid
70s over the North. Down south, it was warmer in the 82-85 range.

Blame most of this on one of those upper level disturbances affecting the
north part of the state. As that little feature moves on eastward, showers
will thin out. Much of the area tomorrow will have a lot more sunshine than
today and showers or storms will be fairly scarce.

For the rest of the week, there will be scattered showers and storms off and
on as several minor disturbances affect the area. The timing of those is
difficult beyond about 48 hours. We think the better chance of showers will
be about Friday.

In the last 24 hours, Mobile received 1.42 inches of rain and Selma 0.87.
One of the heaviest amounts was 2.93 inches at Mitchell Dam.

AT THE BEACH: Can't rule out a shower or thunderstorm each day all this
week but there will be good intervals of sunshine. About a 1 in 3 chance of
getting wet most days with the fewest showers tomorrow and Thursday. Highs
85-88.

AIR QUALITY: A code Yellow was in effect Sunday and today which means
moderate air quality.

TROPICAL WEATHER: Part of the Western Caribbean and adjacent land areas
have an increase in clouds and showers. It is not expected to become a
tropical storm but there will be times of heavy rainfall and gusty winds
over parts of Central America during the next couple of days as the system
moves WNW at 5-10 mph.

While we don't have many hurricanes this early in the season, it was not the
case in 1972. Richmond had its worst flood on record from the leftovers of
Hurricane Agnes.

THE REST OF THE STORY: No wonder there was flash-flooding in North Central
Texas Sunday and Sunday night. A whopping 9.15 inches of rain fell in the
last 24 hours at Jacksboro and 6.45 inches at Collinsville. Decatur, Texas,
in Wise County had 5.11 inches..the lowest temperature down here in the
"lower 48" this morning was 25 at Stanley, Idaho...it was 25 in Barrow and
Deadhorse, Alaska...hottest Sunday was 116 in Death Valley.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: Sure seems strange around the house today.
Usually every time I walk from my office through the living area, my 8-pound
shadow, Little Miss Molly, is right at my heels and even letting her paws
slide down the calf of my legs. Translation: Will you play with me? But
today all is quiet. She is at the PBS. That doesn't stand for Public
Broadcasting System, instead it means Puppy Beauty Shop. Yep, she is getting
a haircut "summer style. So anxious to see her...interesting walk with her
at sunrise Sunday. A noisy bird was hidden in a small oak tree by the walk.
He was performing a variety of sounds and then would repeat them. One of the
sounds was yip, yip, yip. I finally decided he was playing with his cell
phone-one with a variety of ringing sounds. I assume birds have cell
phones...everyone else does and they do not hesitate to use them. Life goes
on.

GOOD MORNING! By the time most of you read this, I will be well on my way
to beautiful Corolla, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I have always
wanted to visit the Outer Banks, which have a lot of appeal to me because of
the ocean, their history, and their hurricane heritage. I am sure I will
have some stories by next weekend.

TODAY: Alabama continues under the influence of a strong Bermuda High,
which is pumping plenty of warm, moist air into the state. An upper level
disturbance is drifting into Northwest sections of the state this morning.
This system will fire scattered showers and a few thunderstorms this morning
across the northern half of the state. Other showers and storms may reform
this afternoon across the area. There could be a couple of light showers
overnight, but they will be isolated and light in nature.

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY: Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms during
the afternoons and evening hours will highlight the weather Tuesday through
Thursday as a rather summer like pattern sets in with the Bermuda High
holding sway.

FRIDAY AND BEYOND: Can't tell much difference in the Friday through weekend
forecast. We will certainly deal with diurnal showers and thunderstorms. A
few disturbances will be mixed in at different times to enhance those
precipitation chances, but they will be hard to pinpoint outside of 24 hours
in advance.

BIG PLANETY NEWS: It hasn't happened since 1882. The planet Venus will
pass directly in front of the sun early on Tuesday. For six hours starting
around midnight CDT, the planet will appear as a tiny black dot transiting
across the Sun. This means that it will finish its journey about 6:30 a.m.
DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN! Even at the time it will be visible here, which
will be just after sunrise, staring at the Sun for even a second will damage
your eyes. It can even cause PERMANENT BLINDNESS! Check out a webcast of
the event at www.spaceweather.com. That's safe!

GOOD AFTERNOON! The numerical weather prediction models are in pretty good
agreement on the Alabama weather scenario for the next 36 hours and beyond.
A warm front over South Alabama is pushing north on this Sunday afternoon,
and will put us back into a warm and moist regime which will be with us
through the foreseeable future. In addition, a weak upper level disturbance
is pushing east northeast out of northern Louisiana. It will help to focus
our shower and storm chances late today, through tonight and into Monday.
This system will close off into a small upper level low that will help to
set off scattered mainly afternoon and evening showers and storms through
much of the rest of the coming week.

FORECAST SPECIFICS: Specific being a loosely used term here, with no real
definite weather features to hang our hat on, especially after the first 36
hours. The front and disturbance will push a weakening area of showers and
storms across much of the state tonight through Monday morning. Skies
should clear out to some degree at some point during the day on Monday,
which could allow for the development of more showers and storms during the
afternoon hours. After Monday, we should settle into a rather typical
summer like pattern, with a huge Bermuda High well to the east of Alabama,
keeping us in a warm, moist southwesterly flow. All of the moisture,
combined with occasional spits of energy in the upper atmosphere means a
broad-brush forecast of mainly afternoon and evening showers and storms
developing in scattered areas. Temperatures will be near to a little above
normal during much of the upcoming week.

LOOKING TOWARD THE WEEKEND: The crystal ball gets a little fuzzy by Friday
and Saturday. We will call for increased rain chances as we head to the
weekend as moisture levels continue to increase. We will be watching a
backdoor cold front to our northeast and a disturbance passing along the
Gulf Coast also by that time.

ON THIS DATE IN 1944: Allied Forces landed on the beaches of Normandy,
opening the long-awaited second front against the Germans and spelling the
beginning of the end of World War II. Weather Forecasting played a huge
role in the success of the invasion. On the 3rd, the invasion, which had
been scheduled for the 5th was postponed. But American forecasters
predicted a short window of good weather for the 6th. British forecasters
initially disagreed, but came around to the American thinking on the 5th and
the invasion was on for the next morning. If the invasion had taken place
on the 5th, a disaster would have occurred as stormy conditions turned the
Channel into a deathtrap. Launching the invasion on the 6th was a coup for
the Allied forecasters and provided some element of additional surprise for
the landing forces. The German military believed their meteorologists'
forecasts that the conditions were going to be too bad for invasion on the
6th also. If the invasion had not occurred on the 6th, the next window of
opportunity form a tidal standpoint would have been the 17th through the
21st. A storm of historic proportions during that time could have wrecked
the invasion.
