Seder, a full banquet meal with a Seder plate at every table. Rabbi
Walker will help you explore the connection and prophecy of the
Passover meal which proclaims Yeshua as Messiah of Jew and
Gentile alike. Praise and worship music will be provided by
Integrity Music's own Messianic recording artist Paul Wilbur.

...Interesting Weather Ahead...

It has been a beautiful Saturday across Alabama. Regional radars are
taking a break. Visible satellite photos show some high cloudiness
over Mississippi that are streaming into parts of Central Alabama.
Noontime temperatures across Alabama were in the 60s, heading toward
the 70s for afternoon highs. The ideal weather conditions across the
state have prompted us to issue a Perfect Weather Warning for the area
for this afternoon. When a PWW is issued, you should drop what you
are doing and head outside to take advantage of the fine weather.
Hikes, yard work, baseball, golf or tennis are all recommended
activities.

TONIGHT: Expect increasing clouds tonight as isentropic lift starts
to occur of our next weather system. By late tonight, a large upper
trough will be positioned over the Central U.S. and a surface low will
be moving from Kansas into Missouri. The isentropic lift will result
in a some light rain or light showers in spots across the state.

SEVERE WEATHER TOMORROW? Just can't get too excited about the
possibility of significant severe weather tomorrow. This system is
obviously not as dynamic as our last system. There are indications
that the warm front will not move very far to the north tonight and
Sunday, keeping the focus for rain and storms well to our south during
much of the day. The morning will start off mostly cloudy, but there
could be a few breaks in the overcast during the morning hours.
Temperatures should warm into the middle 70s and dewpoints into the
lower 60s Sunday afternoon. This will result in weak to moderate
instability across the area Sunday afternoon. By late in the day,
CAPE values across Central Alabama should average 500 j/kg and lifted
indices should be around -5C. As this happens, there could be a
little severe weather, but the main action should come in the form of
a broken line of storms that will enter the state Sunday evening ahead
of the cold front.

FREEZE MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT: Much colder air will spread into
Alabama behind the cold front. This will send temperatures into the
40s by Monday morning, with afternoon highs only expected to get into
the 50s. Recent model runs have hinted at the possibility of a little
light rain or perhaps even a few snow flurries over North Alabama
Monday and Monday night. Clouds may hang tough into Tuesday, and
there are signs that we might not get out of the 40s Tuesday. Wow.
The warmup begins Wednesday.

ON THIS DATE IN 1977: After a noontime line of strong to severe
storms passed through Birmingham, many people figured the worst was
over. But statements from the National Weather Service in Birmingham
warned that the worst was yet to come. Shortly before 3 p.m., a
supercell thunderstorm dropped a tornado near US-78 in northwestern
Birmingham. The monster tornado roared northeast through the
Smithfield Estates subdivision as it embarked on a 15 mile path of
destruction, going on to blow cars off I-65 near Fultondale Fifty
homes were totally destroyed. Warnings were timely, including
dramatic live broadcasts on Birmingham's recently installed NOAA
Weatheradio. Yet 22 people died that day. Another 130 were
injured.
