NORTHERN DALLAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...VALLEY GRANDE...SELMA...
NORTH CENTRAL LOWNDES COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 530 PM CST

* AT 447 PM CST...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR MARION JUNCTION...
OR 11 MILES SOUTH OF MARION...MOVING EAST AT 60 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
POTTER STATION...SELMA...MEMORIAL STADIUM AND DALLAS COUNTY HORSE
ARENA BY 500 PM CST...
VALLEY GRANDE BY 505 PM CST...
BURNSVILLE AND GARDNER ISLAND BY 510 PM CST...
MULBERRY BY 515 PM CST...
AUTAUGAVILLE AND BOOTH BY 525 PM CST...

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 65 EXIT NUMBER 186.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL AND DEADLY CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
STURDY SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST
DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS

INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO
COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
