EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.
AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN...OCCASIONALLY MIXED WITH SLEET OVER NORTHWEST
AND NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA WILL SOON EXPAND ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF
NORTH ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. ALTHOUGH ICE
ACCUMULATION WILL BE LIGHT...ON THE ORDER OF A COUPLE HUNDREDTHS
OF AN INCH...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP SUDDENLY
THIS MORNING. NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS DUE TO ICY ROADS HAVE BEEN
REPORTED.
TEMPERATURES SHOULD CLIMB TO ABOVE FREEZING BY MIDDAY...ENDING
THE THREAT FOR ICY TRAVEL.
MOTORISTS SHOULD PLAN THEIR TRAVELS ACCORDINGLY AND BE PREPARED
