* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
WESTERN WALKER COUNTY IN CENTRAL ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CARBON HILL...
SOUTHEASTERN MARION COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF WINFIELD...
SOUTHWESTERN WINSTON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LYNN...

* UNTIL 245 PM CDT

* AT 144 PM CDT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
BRILLIANT TO 14 MILES SOUTH OF WINFIELD...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM 8 MILES NORTH OF WINFIELD TO FAYETTE...AND MOVING EAST AT 20
MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
LAKE BUTTAHATCHEE BY 205 PM CDT...
ELDRIDGE BY 215 PM CDT...
KANSAS BY 225 PM CDT...
LYNN AND CARBON HILL BY 230 PM CDT...
NAUVOO AND ASHBANK BY 240 PM CDT...
OAKMAN...POPLAR SPRINGS AND 7 MILES WEST OF MCDOWELL CAMP GROUNDS
BY 245 PM CDT...

THIS INCLUDES US 78 EXIT NUMBERS 26 THROUGH 61.

WINDS OF 60 TO 70 MPH WILL BREAK LARGE TREE LIMBS AND CAUSE SOME
DAMAGE...ESPECIALLY TO SMALLER STRUCTURES.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL...AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...PREFERABLY
INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF
YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY AND SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.
