* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
NORTHWESTERN CHAMBERS COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...
CLAY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF ASHLAND...
RANDOLPH COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...WEDOWEE...ROANOKE...
NORTHERN TALLAPOOSA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 400 AM CDT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND
DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF BARFIELD TO
MILLERVILLE...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES SOUTH OF
OXFORD TO 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF GOODWATER...AND MOVING EAST AT 50
MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
MELLOW VALLEY...BARFIELD...LINEVILLE AND GOLDVILLE BY 405 AM CDT...
OFELIA AND CRAGFORD BY 410 AM CDT...
MOTLEY BY 415 AM CDT...
WEDOWEE AND WADLEY BY 420 AM CDT...
TENNANT BY 425 AM CDT...

WINDS OF 60 TO 70 MPH WILL BREAK LARGE TREE LIMBS AND CAUSE SOME
DAMAGE...ESPECIALLY TO SMALLER STRUCTURES.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOUR ARE IH ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDAITELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL AND DEADLY CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN
THIS STORM. WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A TORNADO MAY STILL
DEVELOP. IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IN A STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR
ROOM.
