WEST CENTRAL DALLAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...
NORTHEASTERN MARENGO COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...
SOUTH CENTRAL HALE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 530 AM CST

* AT 449 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR
THOMASTON...OR 6 MILES EAST OF LINDEN...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF FAUNSDALE BY 500 AM CST...
UNIONTOWN BY 505 AM CST...
VALDEN BY 515 AM CST...
HAMBURG AND 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MARION BY 520 AM CST...

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
STURDY SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST
DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN
INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO
COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
