THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
CULLMAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 515 AM CST

* AT 446 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY SIZE
HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF
CULLMAN TO 22 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GOOD HOPE...AND MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GOOD HOPE...
HANCEVILLE...
CULLMAN...

SOME BROAD ROTATION IS INDICATED NEAR SMITH DAM...THIS COULD PRODUCE
A TORNADO. INTERESTS IN SOUTHERN CULLMAN COUNTY SHOULD BE AWARE THAT
A TORNADO WARNING COULD BE ISSUED AT ANY TIME.

IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS
IMMEDIATELY! LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS.
REMEMBER...IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE
