...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

THE FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT FOR LOCATIONS
ABOVE 1500 FEET IN FRANKLIN...JACKSON...AND DEKALB COUNTIES.

TEMPERATURES AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET HAVE INCREASED TO JUST
ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK ACROSS NORTHEAST ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN
MIDDLE TENNESSEE. THIS HAS ALLOWED THE FREEZING RAIN TO CHANGE TO
MOSTLY RAIN...THOUGH SOME RESIDUAL ICE WILL PERSIST ATOP LOOKOUT
MOUNTAIN IN DEKALB COUNTY.

WARMER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS WITH
PRECIPITATION REMAINING IN MOSTLY LIQUID FORM. SOME REFREEZING OF
LINGERING MOISTURE WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT
MOVES INTO THE REGION.
