THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS CANCELED THE HEAVY
SNOW WARNING.

THE WINTRY WEATHER HAS COME TO AN END ACROSS THE AREA. ACCUMULATIONS
OF 2 TO 4 INCHES WERE REPORTED IN WAYNE AND CHOCTAW COUNTIES...2.5
INCHES IN CRENSHAW COUNTY...1 INCH IN WASHINGTON AND CLARKE COUNTIES
WITH LESSER AMOUNTS ELSEWHERE. CRENSHAW COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE WILL
BE CLOSING ALL SECONDARY ROADS FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING UNTIL 9 AM
SUNDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY ABOVE FREEZING HAS RESULTED IN
THE SNOW THAT DID FALL TO MELT...BUT VERY COLD AIR FLOWING INTO THE
AREA WILL TURN LINGERING WATER ON ROADWAYS INTO ICE.

OF SLEET WERE REPORTED IN THE ADVISORY AREA. TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY
ABOVE FREEZING HAS KEEP WET ROADWAYS FROM FREEZING...BUT VERY COLD
AIR FLOWING INTO THE AREA OVERNIGHT WILL TURN ANY LINGERING WATER ON
ROADWAYS INTO ICE.
