* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
NORTHWESTERN COOSA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 404 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL. THIS
STORM WAS LOCATED OVER EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN TALLADEGA COUNTY...OR
NEAR SYLACAUGA...AND MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 15 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
RURAL NORTHWESTERN COOSA COUNTY AT 420 PM CDT
RURAL WESTERN COOSA COUNTY AT 450 PM CDT

IF ON OR NEAR LOGIN MARTIN LAKE OR LAY LAKE...GET OUT OF THE WATER
AND MOVE INDOORS OR INSIDE A VEHICLE. REMEMBER...LIGHTNING CAN
STRIKE OUT TO 15 MILES FROM THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM. IF YOU CAN HEAR
THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. MOVE TO
SAFE SHELTER NOW. DON'T BE CAUGHT ON THE WATER IN A THUNDERSTORM!

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND VERY
HEAVY RAIN.
