THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
CULLMAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA

* UNTIL 445 PM CDT

* AT 358 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
AT LEAST TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. ONE STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF GOOD HOPE...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. ANOTHER
WAS LOCATED NEAR LEWIS SMITH DAM...ALSO MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25
MPH. A THIRD WEAKENING STORM WAS LOCATED FIVE MILES WEST OF
BAILEYTON... AND LIKELY WILL NOT REMAIN SEVERE MUCH LONGER.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GOOD HOPE...
HANCEVILLE...
CULLMAN...
BREMEN...
BUG TUSSLE...
LEWIS SMITH LAKE...
BAILEYTON...
VINEMONT...

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
