THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
WESTERN MARENGO COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LINDEN

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 430 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 6 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HALF
ACRE...OR ABOUT 14 MILES EAST OF BUTLER...AND MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 25 MPH. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT AREAS ALONG THE TOMBIGBEE RIVER.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...

MYRTLEWOOD BY 445 PM CDT
LINDEN AND JEFFERSON BY 500 PM CDT
