THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...
NORTHEAST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
A BAND OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL
HAS MOVED OUT OF THE WATCH AREA...AND THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT IS
DIMINISHING. PONDING OF WATER AND LOCALIZED FLOODING PROBLEMS ARE
STILL POSSIBLE AS LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN MOVES ACROSS THE
TENNESSEE VALLEY...AND THE PRIMARY FLOOD CONCERNS WILL MOVE TO
MAINSTEM RIVERS SUCH AS THE ELK AND PAINT ROCK RIVERS AND BIG
NANCE CREEK. HOWEVER...THE MAIN FLASH FLOOD THREAT IS ENDING.

COUNTY...MARSHALL.
* UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING
* THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL PERSIST ACROSS
MARSHALL COUNTY INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA UNTIL 315 AM CDT.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.
A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING IS POSSIBLE BUT NOT IMMINENT IN
THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA ARE ADVISED TO CHECK
PREPAREDNESS REQUIREMENTS...KEEP INFORMED...AND BE READY FOR
