TONIGHT...BRINGING A QUICK CHANGEOVER FROM RAIN TO SNOW THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE WILL
TRACK FROM JUST SOUTH OF JACKSON MISSISSIPPI TO NEAR MONTGOMERY
ALABAMA INTO CENTRAL GEORGIA BY SATURDAY MORNING.

OF FRANKLIN COUNTY...AND ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE WARNED AREA
BY 11 PM. SNOW MAY FALL AT A RATE OF ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR FOR A
FEW HOURS...WITH VISIBILITY REDUCED DOWN TO 1/4 TO 3/4 OF A MILE. TOTAL
SNOW AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES BY SATURDAY MORNING
WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS AROUND 5 INCHES OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

TENNESSEE RIVER...WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS AROUND 3 INCHES IN THE
HIGHEST ELEVATIONS OF NORTHEAST ALABAMA.
A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL
DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED
VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
