VoIP or VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL
What is it? Can I really cut my phone bills in half?
http://www.SaveOnVoIP.com

VoIP is the new technology that is quickly revolutionizing the phone
industry. VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, allows you to make
telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular
or analog phone line. VoIP can save you hundreds of dollars off your annual
phone bill.

Now there is a website to help consumers understand this new technology.
SaveOnVoIP.com eliminates any confusion with a comparison chart and
objective opinions of the leading providers as well as a thorough
"Frequently Asked Questions" page that explains VoIP. There are well over
100 providers of VoIP, but some companies provide superior customer support,
more dependable service and are financially stable.

Learn about this new technology and how to save hundreds of dollars!

MORNING FREEZE AND QUICK WARM UP: First let's look at some low
temperatures around Alabama this morning. It is getting late in the season
and we won't have too many more real cold nights. We need some more, because
surely we have not gotten rid of all the varmints.
19 in Hamilton and Black Creek
20 in Ft. Payne (private weather station)
21 at Ft. Payne Airport, Gadsden, Florence
22 in Pinson, Crossville, DeSoto State Park, Munford,
Wedowee
23 in Leeds, Jasper, Guntersville, Cullman
24 in Decatur, Huntsville, Madison, Harvest, Parrish
and Albertville
25 in Moulton, Alexander City, Muscle Shoals
26 in Anniston, Hartselle, Northport, Vinemont
27 in Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa
Brisk SW winds set in today bringing a quick warm up, but the
warmest weather is yet to come. By Tuesday, many areas will see 70 and
Wednesday and Thursday will have mid 70s. We may see some showers late
Thursday extending into Friday morning when another cold front comes
through. At this time, the showers appear to be mostly light.
DANCING IN THE DESERT: Surely they are in Phoenix where the
official forecast finally calls for some scattered showers Tuesday and
Wednesday-maybe even a 30 or 40 percent chance. It is about time because
today was the 132nd day in a row with not even a trace of rain.
STORM ALERT 2006: One more time to get a chance to see this year's
tour. It is tomorrow night (yes, on Tuesday instead of Thursday) at the
Northport Civic Center at 7:00 p.m. Come early for a good seat.
ELSEWHERE: 88 in Mesa, Arizona was the Sunday warm spot...a very
cold 25 below zero this morning at Watertown in Upstate New York...Saranac
Lake had 14 below...it was 34 below at Chandalar Lake, Alaska...probably the
best news in a long time came from North Texas where as much as 2 inches of
rain fell Friday night and Saturday in a drought-plagued area where grass
fires have been a tremendous problem.
MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: A very pleasant walk with Little Miss
Molly at midday...looked up and saw 9 jet contrails overhead and down across
the western sky. Some of them even crossed into a figure "X"...the contrails
mixed in with the high cirrus clouds. It was a nice little sideshow by
Mother Nature who gives us so very much to enjoy...Spring seems to be
exploding. I have a friend in extreme North St. Clair County and he reports
that buttercups are blooming and the maple tree budding. The Old Crow Motel
is also budding here and my Bradford pear trees are budding quickly...Little
Miss Molly jumped that little CR (Community Rabbit) again last night. He was
nestled in a flower garden just off the walking track, but I was cautious.
Little Miss Molly jerked me halfway down into their yard but I was able to
prevent a fall...maybe a minor whiplash, but I have had lots of those over
the last 3 year with that little rascal. She may never slow down. Woe is me
but life goes on.
