VoIP or VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL
What is it? Can I really cut my phone bills in half?
http://www.SaveOnVoIP.com

VoIP is the new technology that is quickly revolutionizing the phone
industry.
VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, allows you to make telephone calls
using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular or analog phone
line.
VoIP can save you hundreds of dollars off your annual phone bill.

Now there is a website to help consumers understand this new technology.
SaveOnVoIP.com eliminates any confusion with a comparison chart and
objective opinions of the leading providers as well as a thorough
"Frequently Asked Questions"
page that explains VoIP. There are well over 100 providers of VoIP, but some
companies provide superior customer support, more dependable service and are
financially stable.

dollars!

GOOD AFTERNOON! Skies cleared right on schedule overnight across North and
Central Alabama, setting the stage for a sunshine filled day. Despite the
presence of the strong late Winter sun, temperatures will struggle to get
very far into the 50s. That is because the sun's warming is fighting an
uphill battle against a cold northerly flow on the back side of the low
pressure system that brought us all the rain yesterday. Those winds will
begin to die down this afternoon as the pressure gradient relaxes.
Overnight, the winds will go calm and with clear skies, excellent
radiational cooling conditions will exist. This will allow overnight
readings to drop below freezing across the area.

RAINFALL REPORT: Most locations across the North Central Alabama totaled
around one inch of rain when all was said and done on Saturday. The
Birmingham Airport picked up exactly one inch, bringing our total for the
year to nearly 15 inches. That is over five inches above normal. Some
locations definitely picked up more, as evidenced by Montgomery, where
nearly three inches fell. Places in West Central and extreme East Central
Alabama probably picked up two or more inches.

THE WEEK AHEAD: Monday will start off clear and cold, but things will
quickly warm up as a nice southwesterly flow begins across the area. This
will allow temperatures to warm into the 60s tomorrow. Skies will become
partly cloudy during the day, but sunshine will still be plentiful. This
will be the beginning of several days of above normal temperatures.

Tuesday will be a little warmer than Monday, with temperatures making the
upper 60s in most locations under partly cloudy skies.
Wednesday will see most areas reaching 70 degrees, quite a treat for late
February. There could be a shower as southerly winds continue to transport
in
moisture, but the chances are remote.

By Thursday, with a warm and decently moist airmass in place, an approaching
cold front will set off a few more showers. But temperatures will still
reach near or just above 70 degrees.

FLIP FLOPPER: One of the things that we hate to do is flip flop on a
forecast, and I did that yesterday when it came to next weekend. The
aforementioned cold front will edge into the area on Friday, or pass
through, depending on what you believe. The GFS continues to advertise that
the front will stall, keeping us mild and a little bit on the wet side as we
head into the weekend. I will buy that for now.

ON THIS DATE IN 2002: 7.22 inches of rain fell on Hilo HI, setting a
record. The heavy rains were the result of a Kona Low over the islands.
Kona Lows are subtropical cyclones that form over the North Pacific during
the cool season. They are one of the least understood weather phenomena
that affect the island paradise, bringing high winds, heavy rains and flash
flooding. Southwesterly winds around the Kona Low converged with the usual
easterly trade winds and forced moist air up over the mountains on the east
side of the Big Island, causing the heavy rains.
