THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
COLBERT COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA
FRANKLIN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1115 PM CST

* AT 810 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
CLUSTERS OF HEAVY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF
COLBERT AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT
NEARLY AN INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS THE WARNED
AREA...AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL THIS EVENING WILL CAUSE FLASH
FLOODING.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...
CHEROKEE...LEIGHTON...LITTLEVILLE...MUSCLE SHOALS...PHIL

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW
