THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
NORTHERN LAMAR COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 745 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
FLASH FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DETROIT
BEAVERTON...AND SULLIGENT.

TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS
NORTHERN LAMAR COUNTY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW
