THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
LIMESTONE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA
LAWRENCE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA

* UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT

* NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS INDICATE SEVERAL AREAS OF
HEAVY RAINFALL PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS WHICH WILL
AFFECT THE WARNED AREA. THIS WILL PRODUCE EXCESSIVE RUNOFF RATHER
EASILY DUE TO ALREADY SATURATED GROUND. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN
HAS ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...
ARDMORE...ATHENS...MOULTON...NORTH COURTLAND AND TOWN CREEK

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE LIKELY IN THE
WARNED AREA THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...
