THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
HALE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF GREENSBORO

* UNTIL 630 PM CST

* AT 549 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS
IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 12 MILES NORTHWEST OF MOUNDVILLE TO 15 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF SAWYERVILLE...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 17 MILES
NORTH OF EUTAW TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF DEMOPOLIS...AND MOVING EAST
AT 45 MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
SAWYERVILLE BY 600 PM CST
MOUNDVILLE BY 605 PM CST
GREENSBORO BY 610 PM CST

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE ACROSS
