THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
GREENE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF EUTAW

* UNTIL 630 PM CST

* AT 535 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS
IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF CLINTON TO 26 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF EUTAW...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
ALICEVILLE TO LIVINGSTON...AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
CLINTON BY 545 PM CST
EUTAW BY 550 PM CST

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...PREFERABLY
INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
