THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
BIBB COUNTY IN CENTRAL ALABAMA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF BRENT

* UNTIL 700 PM CST

* AT 612 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS
IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM WOODSTOCK TO 18 MILES WEST OF BRENT...OR ALONG A
LINE EXTENDING FROM 14 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BESSEMER TO 13 MILES
NORTHEAST OF GREENSBORO...AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
CENTREVILLE AND BRENT BY 630 PM CST
RANDOLPH AND LAWLEY BY 650 PM CST

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...PREFERABLY
INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
