THINKING OF BUILDING A NEW HOME?
CONSIDER THE COST OF HEATING AND COOLING THAT HOME!

High winter heating bills surprised a lot of people last year and took a
deep bite out of many paychecks. There is a solution that cuts these
utility bills by up to 80% -- building your new home with ICF Technology, or
let us Spray Foam seal your existing home.

Our exterior walls can withstand 250 mile per hour winds, include furring
strips for sheetrock attachment, and create an almost soundproof
environment, all at no extra charge!

Come see us at the Spring Home and Garden Show, March 10-13, 2005.
Advanced Construction Design can do it all: basements, first floor, second
floor, and complete homes!

...A Sunny But Cold March Day...

Following some early morning clouds and pre-dawn snow flurries,
sunshine returns in full force today, but temperatures will be 15 to 18
degrees below normal for the first day of March. Strong northwest winds will
gust to 30 mph at times, and will bring in some very cold air, keeping high
temperatures in the mid 40s today.

Tonight, with a clear sky and diminishing wind, a widespread freeze
is likely with most places dropping into the 22 to 27 degree range by
daybreak tomorrow. Some of the colder valleys will drop to near 20, maybe
even reaching the upper teens in spots.

NEXT STORM: Another storm system will organize to the west of
Alabama tomorrow, and clouds will return during the afternoon. We will
mention the chance of some scattered light rain late tomorrow night and
early Thursday.

The lower atmosphere might even be cold enough for a few snow flakes
during the pre-dawn hours on Thursday, but it looks like the bulk of the
significant precipitation with this system will be over the southern half of
Alabama.

WEEKEND PEEK: A strong wave in the upper air flow will bring some
clouds to the state at times this weekend, but it looks like the snow will
remain north of us, over Tennessee and Kentucky with this "clipper" type
system. Temperatures this weekend will remain below normal for the early
part of March.

STILL DRY: Birmingham begins the month of March today with a deficit
of 3.82" of rain since January 1. March is usually our wettest month of the
year, with an average total of 6.10".

STORM ALERT 2005: We will be at Mountaintop Community Church in
Vestavia tomorrow night at 7:00. The last show of the year!
