THINKING OF BUILDING A NEW HOME?
CONSIDER THE COST OF HEATING AND COOLING THAT HOME!

High winter heating bills surprised a lot of people last year and took a
deep bite out of many paychecks. There is a solution that cuts these
utility bills by up to 80% -- building your new home with ICF Technology, or
let us Spray Foam seal your existing home.

Our exterior walls can withstand 250 mile per hour winds, include furring
strips for sheetrock attachment, and create an almost soundproof
environment, all at no extra charge!

Come see us at the Spring Home and Garden Show, March 10-13, 2005.
Advanced Construction Design can do it all: basements, first floor, second
floor, and complete homes!

...Moderating Temperatures...

It was very cold across Alabama Wednesday morning, but highs
recovered to the lower 50s in most areas during the afternoon. The old
thermometer will continue to go up for the next two or three days with highs
expected to be in the lower 60s Friday. For the rest of the week and through
the weekend, lows will be mostly near 40 and highs in the lower 60s.

THE RAIN SITUATION: A disturbance moving eastward from Texas was
still trying to spread some scattered light rain into parts of Alabama late
last night and this morning. The air was so dry that most of the rain over
North and Central Alabama evaporated before reaching the ground. However,
there could be just a little scattered light rain for a time this morning
before the cloudiness begins to break up toward midday and during the
afternoon. We should have more sun than clouds on Friday. During the day
Saturday, there could be just a little scattered light rain as another front
approaches from the north. That front will not change the temperature very
much and mostly sunny weather should continue on Sunday. Early next week
there is a better chance of showers, especially Monday night and Tuesday
when there could also be some thunderstorms.

Down in South Alabama, especially near the coast, the rain will be
more widespread today.

THURSDAY NOTES: The warmest temperatures in the nation Wednesday
shifted to the California desert where it was 76 in Imperial and El Centro.
The early morning low was 24 below zero in Cook, Minnesota. No bitter cold
air is evident in Alaska at this time.

MY TINY CORNER OF THE WORLD: Rain has been frequent enough in the
last couple of weeks to keep the ground soft in my tiny corner. In fact,
when Molly and I walk across the common area, the ground is mushy. The Old
Crow Creek, across the track from the Old Crow Motel, has had a stream of
water for at least two weeks. It normally runs only in rainy weather. Molly
and I walked well over a mile yesterday and in the sunshine she really had a
ball. Life goes on.
