...THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED...

THE UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO THAT HAS
BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WINTRY MIX OF RAIN AND SLEET CONTINUES TO
MOVE EAST OF THE REGION TONIGHT. AS THE LOW MOVES EAST...THE LIGHT
PRECIPITATION IS ENDING QUICKLY FROM THE WEST.

SO FAR...ACCUMULATIONS OF SLEET HAVE BEEN RELATIVELY MINOR...MAINLY
ON GRASSY AREAS...ROOFTOPS...AUTOMOBILES...AND IN PATCHES ON THE
SHOULDERS OF THE ROADWAYS. TEMPERATURES REMAIN ABOVE FREEZING IN
AREAS STILL SEEING SLEET THIS EVENING...AND MOST OF IT IS EXPECTED
TO MELT AS IT FALLS.

WHILE SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL PROBLEMS ARE NOT EXPECTED...MOTORISTS
SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS ON BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES TOWARD MORNING AS TEMPERATURES FALL BACK TO BELOW
FREEZING.
