NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
1150 AM CST FRI DEC 10 2004

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
MADISON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1215 PM CST

* AT 1145 AM CST...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING PENNY SIZE HAIL IN SOUTHEAST HUNTSVILLE ALONG
MEMORIAL PARKWAY. SEVERAL OTHER SEVERE STORMS WERE LOCATED ACROSS
EASTERN MADISON COUNTY. ONE WAS LOCATED 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NEW
MARKET. AN ADDITIONAL SEVERE STORM WAS LOCATED OVER OWENS
CROSSROADS. ALL THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PENNY TO
NICKEL SIZE HAIL.

* LOCATIONS IN OR NEAR THE PATH INCLUDE...
MOORES MILL.
NEW MARKET.
OWENS CROSSROADS.
HAMPTON COVE.
GURLEY.

HAIL UP TO PENNY SIZE INCHES HAS BEEN REPORTED IN WITH THESE STORM.
