* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...

CHOCTAW COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

* UNTIL 815 AM CST

* AT 736 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DIME SIZE HAIL. THIS
STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MELVIN...OR ABOUT 18 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
BUTLER...AND MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
HODGEWOOD AND TOXEY BY 745 AM CST
ARARAT BY 755 AM CST

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED... ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
