Does your organization need to plan a fund-raising project? Photo buttons
and magnet calendars can be a fun and profitable fundraising source!

Organization members take orders for the buttons and magnet calendars.
I provide order envelopes for order taking. All I need is a "quality" color
photo from the person placing the order.

If you think a fund-raising project using my photo buttons & magnet
calendars would benefit your organization, please contact me via the info
listed below.

Provide your name, organization name & phone number or e-mail. I'll contact
you to arrange a meeting to explain the process in more detail. Thanks!

...Warm Up Ahead...

GOOD MORNING! After several days of chilly temperatures, a nice warm up is
about to begin. We still will experience a couple of nights of freezing
temperatures, but daytime readings are going to edge up nicely over the next
several days. In fact, we will see 60 by Wednesday and middle 60s by Friday.
Some parts of the eastern U.S. will see temperatures as warm as twenty five
degrees above normal by the end of the week. That's record territory.

FOR TODAY: The low pressure system that brought the wintry mix to the
southern parts of the state last night is exiting the East Coast of Florida
this morning. The back edge of the cloudiness is moving southeast out of
Central Alabama, and skies will be mostly sunny across the area. Get used
to the sun, because you will a lot of it the next few days. In fact, mostly
sunny will be the weather word through at least Tuesday.

WEEK AHEAD: High pressure will slide far enough east to allow our winds to
shift around to the south on Tuesday, allowing the warm up to really begin.

As moisture increases and a disturbance passes to the north, we will see
partly cloudy skies by Wednesday. A front will approach from the northwest,
but will run out of steam as it becomes parallel to the upper level flow.
The models have hinted as a slight chance of showers by late Friday night,
but likely late enough to prevent the marring of any New Years Eve
celebrations. In fact, our friendly high pressure system may be able to keep
the front at bay until the start of the following week.

ON THIS DATE IN 1996: The Hessian Storm dumped 18 inches of snow on
southern New England. More than 50 people froze to death in the subzero
weather that followed the snow. The storm was named for nine German
mercenaries who froze to death at their posts in Newport, Rhode Island.

ON THIS DATE IN 1776: George Washington crossed the icy Delaware River and
marched on Trenton in the midst of snow and sleet to surprise the British.
