WARNING FOR THE COOSA RIVER...


COOSA RIVER AT GADSDEN...
MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.

LATEST STAGE: 511.1 FEET AT 6 AM WEDNESDAY.
BANKFULL STAGE: 511 FEET.
FLOOD STAGE: 511 FEET.
FORECAST: RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING.
CREST NEAR 512.3 FEET 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON.
FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON.
AT 512 FEET,SOME RESIDENTIAL FLOODING BEGINS IN THE GADSDEN AREA.

HEAVY RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED DURING THE PAST 48 HOURS...AND A FLOOD WARNING
IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR THE COOSA RIVER AT GADSDEN.

ALL PERSONS WITH INTERESTS ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD MONITOR THE LATEST
FORECASTS...AND TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND
PROPERTY FROM RISING RIVER LEVELS.
