HEATING SEASON IS HERE!

Don't let winter catch you without having your system checked for a safe and
comfortable season! Call Action Air for your Heating Season Clean & Check
for only $69.

Are you waking up with irritated sinuses? Are you sneezing often when you
are indoors?

Home owners have overlooked the advantages of cleaner air inside their home
to help them and their loved ones with asthma, allergies, and other health
issues. These issues can be compounded during the heating season!

In many homes that have recently been constructed, new products used to
complete this construction and furnish the home emit invisible and odorless
processing fluids into your new home. The ability for these invisible gases
to be expelled is difficult without the help of fresh air exchange.

The opportunity to live in a controlled, clean home environment is here! Let
Action Air install new and improved high efficiency Honeywell Indoor Air
Quality products.
Let your family breath easier and more comfortably in a healthy home.

...Scattered Showers and Storms...

The calendar says late October, but the weather will feel more like June
today with warm and humid conditions and the chance of scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Temperatures will touch 80 degrees again this afternoon in
many Alabama communities. Showers should thin out tomorrow as the air
becomes slightly drier.

THE WEEKEND: A cold front will approach the Alabama/Tennessee border
Saturday night and stall out. This means the best chance of showers over the
weekend will be across the Tennessee Valley of extreme north Alabama. It
also means that temperatures will stay rather warm.

Early next week, a major fall storm is expected to develop over the nation's
breadbasket, which will swing a vigorous cold front through here Monday
night. This could be a set-up for strong or severe storms for the northern
half of Alabama Monday night. The storms will move rapidly out of the state
after midnight Monday night, and at this time we expect a dry and noticeably
cooler Election Day for Alabama, with a clearing sky, a cool breeze, and
afternoon temperatures only in the 60s. There is a good chance we will be in
the 40s by Wednesday morning.

THE LONG RANGE: Another significant storm system shows up toward the end of
next week, which could mean more strong storms about 8 days from now. Bottom
line is that the first half of November is looking stormy at times with
volatile temperature changes.

CALIFORNIA SNOW: A weather station in the central Sierra reports that 48
inches of snow has fallen there this month, the most for October since
record-keeping began at the site in 1945.

PRIME TIME: Join us for Storm Alert XTREME tonight at 7:00 on ABC 33/40!
