Are you waking up with irritated sinuses? Are you sneezing often when you
are indoors?

Home owners have overlooked the advantages of cleaner air inside their home
to help them and their loved ones with asthma, allergies, and other health
issues. These issues can be compounded during the heating season!

In many homes that have recently been constructed, new products used to
complete this construction and furnish the home emit invisible and odorless
processing fluids into your new home. The ability for these invisible gases
to be expelled is difficult without the help of fresh air exchange.

The opportunity to live in a controlled, clean home environment is here! Let
Action Air install new and improved high efficiency Honeywell Indoor Air
Quality products.
Let your family breath easier and more comfortably in a healthy home.

...Nice Week Ahead...

GOOD MORNING! Well, we had a little excitement around the weather
office last night as our predicted line of thunderstorms intensified over
Mississippi, producing several tornado warnings. As the line approached
Columbus, Mississippi, the southern segment morphed into an impressive bow
echo. But the activity weakened as it moved into more stable air over
Alabama, and no significant damage was reported.

The storms fired along a trough ahead of a cold front that is
located over Northwest Alabama this morning. The front will push
southeastward throughout the day, coasting to a stop over South Central
Alabama. The airmass behind the front is not significantly cooler, but it
is noticeably drier. This will allow for some more comfortable overnight
lows, but highs will still be near 80 for the next few days and the lows
will still be about 8-12 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Skies will clear over northwestern sections this morning, spreading
southeastward through the day. You can expect sunshine in the Gadsden,
Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area before lunchtime, with clear skies by
evening.

High pressure will build into the southeastern United States,
setting the stage for a fairly nice week ahead. The high will keep
approaching weather systems at bay through much of the coming week. Next
rain chance: Saturday.

TROPICAL WEATHER: With five weeks to go in the Atlantic Hurricane
Season, things have gotten a little more active. There is a strong tropical
wave about 500 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Favorable upper level
winds could permit some development. There is a strong low pressure system
northwest of Bermuda that could develop subtropical characteristics. If it
does, it would receive a name. The name: Otto.

ON THIS DATE IN 1998: Mitch became a hurricane in the Caribbean
south of Jamaica and began to intensify rapidly. During a twenty four hour
period beginning on the afternoon of the 24th, its central pressure dropped
52 millibars, to 924 millibars.
