* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 516 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL
HAD FALLEN ACROSS NORTHWEST ALABAMA...WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN
SPREADING IN FROM THE NORTH AND EAST. RAINFALL OF ONE TO TWO
INCHES HAS FALLEN ACROSS LAUDERDALE...COLBERT...AND FRANKLIN
COUNTIES SINCE THIS MORNING...WITH TOTALS LOCALLY AS HIGH AS THREE
TO FOUR INCHES. RAINFALL UP TO AN INCH PER HOUR...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS...WILL OCCUR THROUGH MID EVENING...WHICH COULD
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.
