BONNIE IS MOVING NORTHEAST NEAR 22 MPH. THIS GENERAL MOTION...WITH A
GRADUAL INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED...IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE
NEXT 24 HOURS.

TIME BONNIE IS EXPECTED TO MAKE LANDFALL SOMEWHERE JUST EAST OF
PANAMA CITY BEACH FLORIDA JUST BEFORE NOON TODAY.

BONNIE'S STRONGEST WINDS ARE CURRENTLY NEAR 55 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
LITTLE CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED PRIOR TO LANDFALL. OKALOOSA
COUNTY WILL HAVE THE GREATER RISK OF EXPERIENCING MODERATE WINDS OF
20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS SOMETIME BETWEEN 1000 AM AND NOON THIS
MORNING. WINDS OVER ESCAMBIA AND SANTA ROSA COUNTIES SHOULD BE 15 TO
25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH TO LESS THAN
20 MPH LATER THIS AFTERNOON.

THE THREAT OF DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS DUE TO HIGH SURF WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH LATE MORNING. THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL DIMINISH DURING
THE AFTERNOON AS BONNIE MOVES INLAND AND A MODERATE OFFSHORE WIND
FLOW BECOMES ESTABLISHED. PEOPLE ARE DISCOURAGED FROM SWIMMING OR
RECREATIONAL BOATING UNTIL THE EFFECTS OF BONNIE MOVE OUT OF THE
AREA.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE NORTHWEST
FLORIDA PANHANDLE THROUGH NOON. THIS OVER AN ALREADY WELL SATURATED
GROUND HAS RESULTED IN A FLOOD WATCH BEING POSTED FOR THE NORTHWEST
FLORIDA PANHANDLE THIS MORNING. PERSONS LIVING IN LOW LYING...FLOOD
PRONE AREAS OR NEAR CREEKS OR STREAMS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR
FLASH FLOODING AS BONNIE APPROACHES.
